Here's just a couple pics of my rebuild that has been in the works for a few months. Working pretty slowly but almost done.

Did you use a gun or a can to spray the engine bay? I am getting ready to do mine and I basically have everything removed except the relay box and the brake master cylinder. I am waiting for my friend to weld in my new fender to replace my old one. I wouldn't set a drive ability date. I am about 6 months past mine. LOL

I just used cans, a lot of them. I washed out all the grease and dirt then sandblasted it. Then just spray a bunch of coats so it won't chip or scratch. Its all in the prep work.

I hear ya on the prep work. I am on my third time doing body work on my car since I find little imperfections and notice something new each time. LOL
