After examining my fron suspension components, I noticed some things: 1) My front tie bar bushing is busted/cracked 2) My front sway bar seems to rest on the tie rods (both sides) 3) My rear sway bar bushings seem to be busted/cracked as well. I also think my strut mounts need changing. There's some sqeaking going on somewhere up front, and I think it may have something to do with a busted bushing or either from my sway bar rubbing my tie rod. (or a combo of both)

Ive been to enery suspension's website and they have the Hyper-Flex master set listed for 89-94, but I cant find them anywhere on the net. PDM racing has seperate components, but to piece them together would cost an assload. Anyone know of any other bushing kits out there?

I've heard some bad things about polyurethane bushings If you're considering that route, you may want to look into it. It was something about them not staying lubricated and binding.

polygraphite and derline are better options :)I think polyurethane has its uses in certain areas... sway bar bushings are fine in polyurethane...-chet

Just get new sway bar endlink bushings off PDM. I have em (WHiteline) easy to install and get a set of Nismo T/C rod bushings off eBay. Also, you can go to Auto Zone or whatever and get a set of Moog tie rod ends for cheap.

Im thinking:

(All Whiteline)- FRONT 25mm D Bar Bushings (SPF1636-25K) - $12.00/pair- REAR 15mm Non Hicas D Bar Bushings (SPF1485-15K) - $12.00/pair- Front Swaybar Endlink donuts . . . . . $6.50/set of 4- Rear Swaybar Endlink donuts . . . . . $13.00/set of 8

Whiteline or Energy Suspension T/C rod bushings?

I think I also need "Strut Insulators (Upper Pillow mounts)".

The sway bar bushings are a good buy. I've got them all on my car and didn't increase ride harshness at all while replacing the really worn down bushings in my suspension. One thing though was that the front sway bar was a pain in the butt to get back on after the new bushings were installed.

I agree. The feel is a lot better, but make sure you use the grease that comes with them or they will creak like mine do. Install is about 30 minutes.

What about t/c rod bushings? Whiteline or Energy Suspension T/C rod bushings?

If you want the polyurethane bushings, I went with whiteline. Those work well. If you want some of the metal tension rods, those get pretty expensive. I can get the Tein tension rods for 190 but I decided I'd rather spend less and go with the polyurethane since I was low on cash and needed the part anyway. However, now I'm looking for cusco tension rods but those cost $$$. So it's up to you as to how far you're going to go with your suspension. Many don't want the harshness associated with the metal pillowballs of the Tein, Cusco, JIC, or etc but want something better than the stock leaking bushings and go with the polyurethane ones.
