I've been having a pretty rough idle for a while now that a new coolant temp sensor and a seafoam treatment didn't fix. My search tonight led me to my TPS sensor, and when I removed the connector, I saw three male connectors but only two female connectors on the harness. It's not supposed to be like this is it?

Also, when I pull the MAF sensor connector to test the voltage, the car dies. Is there any other way to do this?

your tps connector is only suppose to have to connectors. it only looks at hard idle.

you have to back probe the wires on the airflow meter not unplug it.
