I let the car run, and take a piece of paper and put it over the seams, if it moves you found your leak. Or you can use a lighter and wherever it gets blown out, although Ive never tried that method.

What downpipe did you use for your setup?

Anyway here are my questions:1st :NGK Spark Plugs: BCP7ES can i use these in my ka-t..?? I was told that those dont have resistors and if i dont it will fry my ignition system.. True..??2nd: on idle, every 5-10 seconds my motor will jump like it has hick-ups. I checked the timming and its at 20 degree's. So im not sure what would cause this jump.3rd: Since I have put in my turbo i have had an exhaust leak comming from either the manifold, turbo, downpipe.. Somewhere its leaking. I have changed out the manifold gaskets, turbo gasket, downpipe gaskets, and wastegate main and dump gasket and everything is tightened down to specs with a torque wrench. The leak sounds like its comming from under the manifold where the wastegate is but i personally removed the manifold and tightened that wastegate as much as i could and i know the bottom flange is straight cause i used a straight edge to verify. So im clueless on what else could be leaking. Do you guys have any tricks that i can use to track this leak down..?? hopefully someone on this could help me..

ThanksRobert98 ka-t 35K miles

1. Use NGK BKR6E-11's, these work well, 1 step colder and are cheap for KA-T setup. Don't know about the BCP's but I wouldn't use them especially they are 7 heat range.

2. Need to give some more details on your turbo setup, ie..fuel/ignition management, fuel pump, etc..?

3.What kind of manifold are you using? Make sure all mating surfaces are true, maybe a small crack somewhere. or find a shop with a smoke detection system to find your leak.
