Couple of questions (dealer related)

My mom bought the versa from the dealer and never realized that we payed extra for the extended service agreement. It is for 6 years or 75,000 miles. it is 1,795 bucks and were not sure if we really want it. Do you guys think it will be necessary? We can still cancel it.

Also we paid 600 bucks for the protection package that includes the protective colored match things for around the car. they have not put them in yet and it's getting to the point that we want to just get a refund for them. She wants to have these on the car so could we get it for cheaper online somewhere and have it installed by our own place?

If it matters we have a really good mechanic that is very reasonable on prices so that is really making us think twice about the extended service for almost 2k more.

Any input is appreciated.

Is it for six years AFTER the manufacturer three year warranty is over? Otherwise, it's a three year warranty for $1795. Expensive.

Wait for the regular warranty is about to expire before you buy an extended. You don't need to purchase it now. Personally, I don't buy those warranties.

You can get a refund for this warranty

cancel it. we kept saying "no" to the warranty and she lowered the price like... 3 times and we were at the "employee" price and we said, "no".

Extended warranty OR service agreement?

The extended warranty is well worth it, if you get the best one out. It covers almost 95% of the car.
