I am looking to add a turbo and make 300rwhp in the neighborhood of 10-12psi, but I want to do it on the stock internals. Here are a few of my questions. I really did try searching so sorry if this has been covered before I am a newbie. Thanks for your help...
1990 s13 originally sohc auto swapped for a 1995 dohc manual with 60,000mi.
Turbo 1) I want it to spool pretty quickly so i was heading toward t3/t4 but i was also considering a t25,t3/t40e,gt32,gt35 but i really couldn't distinguish between them. Looking to spend around $600.
2)Also, is there a big difference in brand names bc i was seriously considering getting one off ebay...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...idget
Do you think the turbo, boost controller, blow off valve, downpipe, and intercooler in this kit is sufficient to reach my goals?
3) Also, what is the difference between top mount and bottom mount turbo manifolds and how important is buying brand name?
This is what else I was considering using...
4) Apexi safc (either this or the Greddy Emanage what do you think) walbro fuel pump z32 maf anything else...?
5) One more thing that I couldn't figure out... I realize im going to need bigger injectors but I don't know how big to go or where to buy them from. I was thinking 550cc but don't know where to get a good set.

1) check out the t2 vs t3 thead in this foum.
2)STAY AWAY FROM EBAY TURBOS!!!!!!! The only good turbo elated pats off ebay i ahve heard about are Intercoolers and manifolds.
3)like i said ive heard that the ebay manifolds do hold up but if you can afford a better company go for that. You might have fitment issues with a bottom mount. Once again read the t2 vs. t3 thead.
4) SAFC-easy to use but not as much adjustability as emanage also cheaperEmangae-More attributes to mess around with but a little bit more and a little bit more difficult interface.
5)10-12 psi idk if you'll be needing 550 injectors but bigge ones are a must. Theres also a thead on injectors in this same forum.

The most poweful peson/thing on this forum is the search buttom up top. Ask him and hell point you in the right position. Just search ebay turbo and see what turns up.

ok i searched the forums and still have a few questions that i must have just missed...1) can i use sr20 side mount injectors or any of the other injectors that are listed in the injector page are they all fair game or is it just a list?2) i want to use a t3/t4 or t3/t04e turbo...where can i find one that is in good condition (preferably new) at a good price...how can i tell if a turbo on ebay is cheap or good quality?thanks
