Couple of issues.

So I have a couple of issues with my car. (2008 Altima sedan 2.5s)

1. Loud noise after I turn off engine, the noise seems to come from underneath the car near transmission but could be further back.

2. My steering wheel is making funny noises when I turn, sounds like something is rubbing against something. (This recently just happened)

3. It feels like my driver seat moves a bit to the side when turning corners.

The loud noise has been going on for sometime now. The driver seat issue has been like that since I bought the car a year ago. Any ideas?

the loud noise could be the cat cooling off. is your car a manual or automatic?that bit of info might help to diagnose.not sure about the steering wheel or the seat, but am trying to figure it out.

For the loose seat, you have to get your seat rails replaced.

hmmmmm...can you describe the sound?

Is the loud noise almost like a hissing sound?My alty does the same thing, especially after long trips. I'm pretty sure its just cooling down. about the seat, it's probably some faulty rails. Steering sounds like you might have an issue. I'd go talk to your dealer about both of those things.

1. heat shield is cooling off and metal is shrinking makes cracking/snapping sound.2. take it to dealership, could be a spring or something else.3. if you have power seats it's a known problem and there is a technical service bulletin for repairs, but repairs don't always fix it.
