Well since I don't have a diy article or a review I decided to put this in the general coupe section.

Racingline STB

I'll be the first to give credit where it's due...dangeris inspired headlight LEDs.

STB

haven't had time to test it yet, but I can't wait!

LEDs....** I know they don't go all the way to where the bumper meets the fender, but I just couldn't justify spending $60 for two little 2 foot strips of leds.

I got the 1 foot length, and wired them directly to the parking lights, so no more amber.

I'll some more pics, becuase you can barely see them in the daylight...

I don't think you really can notice that they are one foot strips, I like the look

sweet....what sucked was that I ordered them back in august....they were on backorder that WHOLE time.

also, are you gonna used the entire 2 feet? like starting where the hood meets the bumper all the way around to the fender? or just cut off the excess?

UPDATE***

took the car for a spin and the diff. the STB made is crazy, flying through corners is soo fun now! it's so much more responsive and handles amazing, can't wait to get a RSB

I'm gonna install the same lights this weekend. If I leave those LEDs always on, how long do you guys think the battery would last? I think it would look cool when you park your car at night and those LEDs stay on.

LEDs don't use much power as it is, so I imagine it wouldn't hurt. how long are you planning on leaving them on?

all my interior leds just barely stay on even when the car is off all night and I haven't had problems with my batt.

On weeknights will be just overnight. On weekends sometimes will be the whole Saturday and Sunday. So usually max will be 2.5 days and if I leave for vacation then I can turn them off manually.

I would imagine it'll be okay 'cause LEDs don't use much power at all, but I did not leave any LEDs on for that long before so I have no knowledge how long the battery can sustain those lights.

OK guys, RC please don't take this the wrong way because I actually really like your car... HOWEVER.. don't you guys feel a little bad about putting mods on your car that EVERYONE is doing? i mean EVERYONE, EVERYONE, EVERYONE is putting these running lights on the headlights,, and its killing me... being one of the first people to do it, I really can't hate on the look itself (even though I took it off because too many people copied the idea), I'm just hating on the fact that its no longer remotely original, and it just looks so .. IDK... hell even Porsche and mercedez have now stolen this idea from AUDI and I'm sure AUDI is like WTF...

anyway, just wanted to throw that out there. your car looks good, but the point of mods is to make your car original... also, have you thought about painting the center bar black? its really showing through behind the c-mod grill

I thought the point of mod'ing your car was to get it how YOU want it. Go figure, I've been doing it all wrong.

no worries man I know what you mean.

to be honest, if I had seen those lights on any other altima besides the ones on NICO I never would have got them. I like the look, but they are def. being used a lot lately. Where I live there are only 3 alti coupes that have anything done to them and the most extensive mod i've seen is a g35 wing.

I'm not one to copy peoples mods, I wouldn't even call it copying, but when you belong to nico and everyone shares their ideas and mods people are going to use those ideas. I mean how many people have tinted tails, or the stillen fascia??

I feel lucky to live in a part of the country where people just dont mod their cars, and considering I live in Oklahoma EVERYONE drives trucks. I haven't seen anyone (besides NICO) that has even one mod I have, so in that sense I am original.

BUT thats the reason I put the NICO banner on my windshield, it's where I and most of us here got ideas to mod our cars. Without NICO my car would look stock, and a lot of your cars would be stock.

anyway just my .02

the support bar is black, but it just shows up a lot in the pictures. In real life it's barely noticeable
