Coupe watch: How many have you ever seen in 1 day.

Ok, the coupe is new still but afordable so it isn't rare as a GT-R. But I see 1 about every week in central Ohio, mostly because I don't drive more then 10 miles to work.

Anyway, today on the way to work I saw not only 1...not even 2...but 3 of them! A blue one with plate STHN GRL, nice G-Spoiler on the back, then a white one parked outside my wife's work (that I have seen before) and then a silver 3.5 outside of McD's while we were getting lunch. I made sure to park right next to him I wish I had some NICO cards to throw around...I still need to get with LBC about that.

Anyway, what is the most you have ever seen in a day?

(Before we get 20...22 and so on...NICOfest does not count because that just isn't as fun to use that. However, if you have a DIFFERENT, more local meet where you have seen 5+...lets here about it)

Well I see at least 4 a day even if I don't leave my house. Two doors down a mother and ddaughter each have one, black and grey, both 2.5s. The daughters friend is over ALL the time and she has a white 3.5. and a few more doors down a teen girl has a red 2.5. none are modded. My gf has a grey 2.5 that I see everyday lol hers has a stillen wing I got her.

Besides those I prolly see one a day, I live in a small town so there isn't that many to begin with. I've only seen one with any mods, (besides the g35 wing) It's black with what looks like carrige works bumper grill and reg. grill, g35 wing, and black and chrome wheels, but I haven't seen any with exhaust or actual performance mods. The only mods a see are the g35 wing (way over used) a few with only wheels and thats it. It's too bad no one around here is interested in cars lol Oh well, thts what NICO is for!

Most I've seen in a day is two. Other than that, I usually see about one a day because there is a guy that I pass almost every day on my way to work going the other direction. I'm glad I don't see many around. I like having a car that is different from the norm because it just gets me more looks!

I drive between 80-100 miles\day around the city and usually see 1 or 2 every other day. Truth is is more G35's. But my personal-best most in one day record is 3. And I'm lookin! So far 90% of sightings have been women drivers, and the mods noticed are rear spoiler (always the dealer applied G35-type wing) and a tinted coupe now and then. >I feel lonely out there<

I see maybe 3 a day, there is one here at my apartment complex, there's like 3 or 4 at my school, including fellow NICO member lilojoj and there's one near my school, Precision Grey 2.5

Notch up another talley! Afterwork we went to go play some sand volleyball and on the way I saw a black 2.5. Another women driver (I notice that too...there are a lot)

I was about to say. I'd be pissed if that was my car. I was with family on easter and I went out to my car to grab something and this business card was under my wiper advertising some detailing service.

...NO one else in my family got this stupid thing, it made me sad so I went and washed and waxed my car hahaha.

I have seen quite a few women AC drivers as well. Once I sped up to catch a 2.5 Code Red one down here in Brea, turns out it was this super old lady, white hair and all. Made me a little sad

Last night was the first night of our sand VB league at the bar so I got to show off the car. The responces included: "Ahh, that Nissan? Is that a 350Z?" (You could just see maybe half the door and back) And "This isn't an Altima, my friend owns an Altima and it doesn't look like this!" (Said with a "This car is cooler" tone.)

I recently debaged, and that helps with the mystery.

I've probably seen 3 or 4 on a good day. There is a kid that lives in the next neighborhood up the road that has a black 2.5 base (but I don't see it too often). There is a silver 2.5 that works at the bank a few miles away, and there's a white 3.5 that works at the other bank across the interstate. For the most part I seem to see black 2.5's; I guess its just a popular color. I agree though on having a car that's rare, it is nice to get looks from people. I haven't seen any other coupe with my spoiler (which makes me happy as much trouble as it was to ship from Canada), nor have I seen anybody else with my 350z wheels; so unique LOL.

I've also noticed that most of the local one's I have seen came from the other local Nissan Dealer (that tried to screw me on all the way around on price/trade/fees/financing), so I just chuckle a wondering how bad they god screwed. The only difference in the car I tried to by from the crappy dealer, and the one I actually purchased from the other is color, everything else was the same (except about $5000 mysterious dollars, and the interest rate). I sacrificed the bright blue, for deep slate; and looking back I couldn't be happier. I've owned blue before and it's almost as bad as black with keeping it clean, and I love the fact that I can got months between washing and it still looks clean.

Most I have seen outside the carlisle meet was at one of our brooklyn meets. I think we had 16 there.

I've been past the Conyers one before; its just a pretty good hike from here. (I live near Discover Mills & the Gwinnett Arena). I bought mine from Gwinnett Place; Southerlin up at the Mall of Georgia is the one that tried to screw me.

Southerlin wanted to give me $3500 on my trade (2002 Audi A4 Quattro); 5.9% financing (I have and have had perfect credit), and they had almost $1000 in misc dealer fees plus their paint protection markup. And no matter how many ways you added up their numbers it never came out right.

Gwinnett Place gave me $8000 on the trade (I'll be honest it did have negative equity), they matched my Credit Union's 3.9% financing, and took all their markup fees off.

So all said and done the same car at two dealers that are 10 miles apart at two different malls came out $5000 different in price and financing.

As far as the service departments go, I haven't had but one warranty claim and I took it to GP where I bought it, and the service manager was mediocre in my opinion. He didn't seem to care and was reluctant to acknowledge the fact that my 2-week old car had rust on the door pillar. They did fix it though.

I saw 12 coupes headed north from Miami to Orlando last week; and maybe four or five on the way back down. Most of them were black, and none of them had any noticeable mods. Other than that, I normally see about four or five every day! I still remember that I was about the only coupe on the road before. Now everybody has one, lol.

I know what you mean about the sedans, at work there is maybe 500 cars. Propbably 15 sedans, 2 Z's, 1 G37 (SWEET looking car, Code Red, spoiler...) and then my Coupe

At least the sedan's here do something to make theirs stand out and be noticed!

I don't do go there anymore tho haha. lol Yeah it's insane how many A/C are in one side of the parking section lol. It's intense. I probably see 30+ at work every day. But, I work at a Nissan factory that leases them out to employees. It's an unfair question... 17 at a college is a good amount. Are we giving them away now?

at least 4 everyday. 2 black(both girls,2.5s, and one of 'em has the 19" nismo rims.) 1blue 3.5 guy, and 1 grey, not sure what engine, but a teacher drives it. those are just at the highschool. sometimes i see 'em on the road, but not too often

Thanks glad to be here. There's alot of 07 Altima sedans in my area but I seen another coupe around but rarely. I use to be in the maxima.org forums when I had my 4th gen Maxima. My brother is also in that forum with his 4th gen. He goes to a lot of events like Hot Import Nights in AC. This is my first site I've seen with Altima fourms.
