If you plan on a battery relocation and a front end conversion anyway it doesn't matter. The coupe is slightly lighter and more rigid. Those were my only reasons for choosing it. It looks kinda stupid with the 180 front end on it tho. In my opnion the conversion is a must.

the coupes chassis is better, but the fastback has better weight distribution.......

It's not that I don't like them, I just think that Sileighties look kinda strange. The boxy Silvia front end with the curvy 180SX rear end is weird to me.

- ^ I agree w/ Buud

-I've hear that once you trunk mount your battery in the coupe, the weight distribution is about the same. The coupe is a little ligher as well

I feel the fastback is more functional.. gotta love huge cargo area, good rear view.

I never liked the sil80.. but its growing on me.. Still not worth the $1000 to me.. but that may change in comming months..

Coupe with stock front end is my least favorite S-chassy.
