so about 45 days ago my coupe was in an accident... the wear on my tires accelerated because of dryrot and caused me to hydroplane, spin twice and cause 5800 dollars worth of damage to the car...

here is what it looked like before the accident

and here is right after... i know that it doesnt look like much but everything behind is broken and the germans charge sooo much to fix anything ..... its been painful seeing my car like this while i drive a s***ty rental (and the germans arent nice when it comes time to charge for that either )

the accident ripped the hangers off my stillen ehxaust so the shop repaired them.....

and here is during

new stuff;new tires - dunlop signature sport all seasonsed front bumper350z wheels refinished in wurth wheel paint

i will be getting my car back on tuesday and and post pics.... then i have a few things to install over the next couple of weeks....

--racingline stb--ragingline grounding kit--orange interior leds--blue led underbody kit--blue led strips behind grille--paint all mesh grilles and factory grille gloss black

let me know what you think.....

i will update the op when i get a chance tuesday night....

stay tuned

wow! sorry about the accident, good thing you're ok though.... the ED front bumper looks really nice on your car. you said you were going to paint the grill black? dont forget to paint the radiator with some high temp paint... otherwise the radiator shows straight through the mesh and it looks ugly... cant wait to see the post pics!

are you talking about the grill or the whole fascia? for the grill, its just some plastic mesh i picked up and painted black and had it bondo'd to the bumper.... its not like an actual grill.

I want to cut the mesh out of the factory grille shell and then bondo some mesh in and so it will be more like the sedan mesh grilles....

i think the best thing would be to just go to a body shop and have them fabricate some piece to the bottom of the grill so the whole outline will be there (instead of how the mustache has a gap in the middle). then once you have that done, you can just pic up some mesh from anywhere and have it bondo'd to the bumper... i edited one of your pics with paint to show you what i mean and then i realize my photobucket account is still trippin and i cant post it lol it says i uploaded the pic but then i can never see the pic...

Ok so I just got pulled for a badass local tdy for some hardcore mobility training.... I my wife picked up the car on monday and I got home this evening... It's dark outside so I can't post up good pics... So I will get some good ones up tomorrow.... It looks amazing.... They did some cool little things that stand out and make it better.. Like filling in the tow hook cover...

The actual bumper was made bad and they had to do some work to make it fit good... There were no corners so new ones had to be made the shop did a good job.... I still need to paint the mesh black... I might be able to get that done tomorrow

What do you think ??

ok so i didnt get any paint today.... hopefully i can get some on monday... my wheels were refinished so they are not quite the same as all the other 350z rims.... if you can find a set that is all messed up for cheap its worth it to get them and get them refinished.... they used wurth wheel paint on mine and they look amazing in person....

Hey looks great!!! Congrats in getting your car back.

Just curious... what is it like driving your car in Germany??? Turning lot of heads? People asking question about your car? Im pretty sure you're like the only one in Germany with Altima Coupe.

Love driving my coupe over here... I wish I had the v6 but I dot get on the autobahn verry often and most of the time the speed limit is less than 60 mph.... Everyone was asking me what it is already so now it will just be mode infusing...

I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of Body Kits. I prefer Lips & Skirts.

The Altima Coupe has two amazing Bumper Kits, first it's Stillen and ED. It looks sweet, great to hear you got her back.

i hate lip kits. i mean lip kits can look good but IMO most dont look good. the reason why i dont like lip kits is because it doesnt flow.... i mean, if someone were to bondo a lip to a bumper and primer and paint the whole thing then it would look good.

it just looks really low in the pics... my driveway has a decent slant to it... i have about 5 inches or so of ground clearance on a level surface and i have the eibachs. and as far as the grille goes... once i get a hold of another stock grille im going to be working on my own mesh grille using the stock grille shell and the same mesh as used in the lower grille.

i like the shape of our grille with the painted stache
