Hatch has better rear visibility. Not sure why this is important in this discussion, but I drive so many cars every day, it angers me when I have poor rear visibility. Why can't more cars be as well thought out as the S13 hatchback?

coupes are technically a little more rigid, but just pick which one you like asthetically and go with it, it's a futile battle to ask here.

No, my friend has a coupe, and he wants a fastback, so not everybody. I just like how modern and sleek the hatch looks. Espcially with a Silvia Ks Aero front, yummay

i think the hatch has crap for rear visibility, but i havent really gotten to drive a coupe. i used to like coupes alot better, but now since i have a hatch, im all about them.

I like the look of the hatch better. I think it has sportier lines. I think the rear window the coupe is to abrupt and vertical. But, that's just my opinion.

I would bet the the coupe weighs less and is a little more rigid, which would get you better handling.

Then again.. i own a convertible.. so what do I know.

I like my hatch because I've heard that a set of wheels will fit in the back. I haven't tried it though. Also, the hatch tail lights are nice. BUt I do like coupes too.

I love my hatch...it does have crap for visibility though. ive heard the zenki hatchs are the lightest but only buy a few pounds, so i say compromise and get a kouki hatch

Zenki coupes are lighter than zenki hatches. Coupes and hatches both make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Body-kits generally make either look like total arse in my opinion. Whats the point of a darth vader cat-eater front bumper if it doesnt even remotely match the sexy stock lines?

My hatch has the best all-around visability of any car I have ever driven. The only blind spot is a small one at the driver's rear quarter panel, that I can see anyway if I move my head far enough over.

I will say coupe all day long....

Until I look at BomexS13's car, and realize how unbelievable slick-a$$ a hatch can be.

Honestly, it's totally a toss-up for me. It'd all come down to condition if I was S13 shopping.

I like the coupes so much more than the hatches. Hatches look like less of a sportscar to me, and doesnt look as great with the silvia front IMO.

Maybe its just because I have a coupe :p

Why this trivial question again? Everyone knows the real answer:

Pudding is better than anything, so why bother? Pudding pwns j00. Pudding is teh win. Pudding is 100% JDM Bling.

BTW: I own a coupe, and wouldn't own an S13 any other way.

Nah, the probes don't look right at all. I can't put my finger on it exaclty but they look real goofy for some reason... maybe it's the big blue emblem... I dunno.

I do know they look nothing like a super sexy Pignose 240sx.

Anyway, weren't Probes introduced around '91? So wouldn't it be the Probes that look similiar to a 240 and not the other way around?

I think the hatch looks more "sports car"-ish, that's why I picked it instead of a coupe. Plus I hadnever had a htach besides my 86 camaro that I had for 2 days before I set it on fire, so....

long story, it pissed me off, so a little ether, lot of ethanol and a lighter solved the problem permanently...
