Since there are no significant differences in performance, the following is the #1 judging aspect and it is entirely subjective: Which looks better to you?

I think it all boils down to personal preference. I love my coupe because I don't have to worry about the infamous rusty hatch. Your stuff is also a little more secure in the trunk of a coupe than a hatchback. One quick strike with a hammer and you loose everything in your trunk and car. The coupe weighs a little more, but I've heard that the weight balance is a little better on the coupe anyway (can anyone confirm the balance?). The coupe is also rarer than the fasback. It's basically the same car, it just boils down to personal peference. Hope that helps some.

This is for a 1990. The XE coupe has a Curb Weight: 2728 lbs, and the SE fastback gas a Curb Weight of: 2684 lbs. Using complex calculs equations you can see that the difference is 44 pounds. Not even worth noting in a car unless you plan on turning it into a total race car.

My 90 has a HUD. I don't know if the 89s do tho. Not all 90s have it. It was an option.

Coupe

Fastbacks have rusty hatch syndrome, and the chassis isn't as rigid as the coupe's due to the big glass bubble. (although because of that bubble, you can haul more stuff in the fastback)

that wasn't biast at all(my sig pic, :D)

edit:i still plan to own a fastback as a 2nd car in the future, just because i want to do a sil-eighty conversion. :drooling

I wanna find a digital speedo and HUD (Heads Up Display) for my 93. Ive heard you can slap the min if you change the harness connector too. And the speed sensor. My needle on my analog jumps around like a crack baby.

115, but I cheated and switched to KM to scare the hell out of my passengers. Worked like a charm too. I'm still on the stock motor with 152k, I have no intrest in seeing if it can handle stupid fast speeds.

I love the coupe! Something about having a trunk, I guess.I don't know how the selection is where you are, but I knew I wanted a coupe, and had to look a long time to find a decent one. I picked her up from the dealer today! Now it's time to get those little @zz tires off there!

The coupe is simply a classier looking Beast. Not that I am biased, but damn those hunch backs got to learn it's all about tha trunk. :D

hah! more like 'junk in tha trunk' ;) i like the hatchbacks.. but again thats biased. i like the coupes too but i like the hatch's better. skwerel is right on the coupe having a classier, sophisticated look. i think the hatch looks ready to run and run fast. just my opinion

What did you do to bypass the speed limiter and the 4tha nd 5th gear rev limits. I know a few methods I was just wondering what you did. I have a hud in my 93 btw.
