So I just got my new wheels yesterday, have to go buy a new socket for the lug key and Im going to install them tomorrow.

Thing is, the vendor that sold them to me stated that the new wheels should be torqued to 90 ft/lbs. I know that the stock Coupe wheels are to be torqued to 83 ft/lbs. Which do I go with? Not sure how much of a difference 7 ft/lbs. is going to make, but why would it vary? Wheel material? Im thinking when in doubt go higher to 90? Any ideas/knowledge to be dropped?

And yes this should be in the wheel/tire section but lets face it, no one goes there...and its Coupe specific.

No, 7 ft/lbs is not really important, but I would tighten them to 80 ft/lbs.
