That is how low I am with BC Racing Coilover (all the perch is lock up and rear have 1 thread left). I am on 18x8.5 and still need to get an alignment done.

I already bottom out so I would say that is the lowest you can go.

Please do not cut the stock springs. You will regret it when your suspension falls apart. Best kit in my opinion for the money is the eibach pro kit. Designed to work with stock suspension does 1 inch drop in rear and 1.5 inch drop in front. Most guys on here have the eibach drop. There are not many options out there yet for dropping.

All depends on the wheels you have too. If you run stock wheels a 2 inch drop would be insane and not recommended as a daily driver since u would bottom out all the time. The coupe is already pretty low to the ground as is.

That is very relative. Sure compared to a truck the A/C is pretty low, compared to other small cars its par for the course. And compared to sport coupes its pretty high.

I haven't got an alignment but the camber is not too bad with the Eibach pro-kit. Although my tires are wearing on the inside in the rear a bit...

Don't cut stock springs, thats just retarded.

The reason why it doesn't go that much lower with springs is because if you look up into the rear wheel well you will see that there is not much room left. It may seem like a lot but it's not. If you hit a bump or a pot hole, any lower and it coul rub pretty bad up in there. The coilovers are certainly worth it if you want to run a lower drop because they're stiffer and don't cause some much travel to happen when you hit a bump.

I am just waiting to see what winter will be like with the car dropped on stock rims. First snow storm should suck big. Also keep in mind if you put a body kit on the car it will be lower. Many people are having problems with their front lips with the eibach drop and bottoming out.
