I'm not sure if the 2.5/3.5 premium/non premium dashboards are made out of the same material, but what is it?

My 3.5 prem/tech has a textured material. It almost feels like and appears to be rubber. I'm not sure what to treat it with. I was using meg's foaming dash cleaner but you gotta load the stuff on to get into all the nooks and crannies.

What are you other guys using?

It's just a high-end plastic. Nissan finally did away with that cheap, hard plastic and replaced it with some nice supple stuff. Feels nice, huh?

Yup, believe it or not, it is plastic. They probably mixed in a few softening compounds or something, but it is plastic.

Big fan of this product. Its nothing like Armor All that is going to make it greasy etc. Cleans the surface leaving it natural.

what about the material above where your left arm rests... on the door, in a leather car... it feels like its leather on the door, is it?

yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. It's the leather trim.

And I use the NXT Interior Protect.

Thanks guys!

again, i used megs foaming dashboard cleaner, which worked fine, just needed globs of it to fill the nooks and crannies. I find that Armor All evaporates in sunlight and leaves a film on the windshield which is very stubborn to get off.

i'll try the NXT or the other meg's product next
