I live in a Condo so I have to go over to my mother's house every time I want to work on it so its a little tough getting all the timing right. As you can see I started this months ago and its not done. Id imagine with the right space and time someone could get it done in a few days.
i know what you mean.. i was in an apartment in charleston when i did most of the work on my car. luckily i had a balcony to do the wood work for my amp case. and doing work on my suspension was even worse.. apparently the pavement in the complex wasn't meant to withstand the weight of a car on jacks.. ended up pushing a bunch of indentations into the ground

I am SOOOOOOOOO much happier with how this turned out than the original fabric idea. I used black Rustoleum Hammered paint, its pretty close to matching the texture and color of the stock trim, just a little bit more glossy. I do have a few small bubbles and sand lines that show but really not noticeable unless you are really inspecting it. The thing is HEAVY, has to weigh at least 50 lbs with the amps on it.

Cant wait to spend another day gutting the rest of the car to wire and install my speakers...

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like it's time to tint. Having stereo gear visible all the time freaks me out a bit. Other than that, this turned out awesome. I, like you, don't really have a need for that portion of the back seat. I think this keeps the trunk looking clean and keeps the amps from baking during the summer. Excellent work. You earn my seal of approval. :bigthumb:

And again thank you gentlemen.

Apple Im FINALLY tinted as of a few weeks ago, 20% 3M all around. Maybe the flash cut it a little or something? This isnt visible from outside the car though, you can make out shapes but only because I know what Im looking for.

Yeah I dont love them either but I wanted the wires hidden. I considered drilling holes straight through for each wire but just wouldnt have come out as clean, plus I would have had to make a lot more of the surface flawless and I was getting sick of working on it to be quite honest.

Walter misses you... :inoutgay:
