Well, unfortunately you're not the first. I had the exact same type of razorblade under my rear seat (when installing my stereo I found it). I figured mine was a one-time deal, as anything can accidentally be left in the car during manufacture. I guess this is a bit more common. Maybe others should watch out when working in their cars. Good thing you weren't cut going after your coins!gordo wrote:So, I had dropped some change by the seat rail and was trying to finagle the coins out when I pulled this out ...Nice and sharp razorblade !Gee ... I wonder how I can use this ...
Possibly, but since mine was under the rear seat, I highly doubt it. I can imagine any reason why the dealer would be removing the back seat. And if we had essentially the same razor (I know, you can buy those anywhere), they were both probably left at the assembly plant. Fact is, everyone should be careful when going through there new car as you never know what may be left in hiding for you.PhillipRumans wrote:It could have been left during the dealer new car prep and not the factory.
That's what I was thinking. I threw it out right away, but I seriously found it under the rear seat. Why would it be there? I'm not completely mental. I didn't think much of it since I thought I was the only one, but I guess I'm not alone...adidas2go wrote:Do you guys use the razor blades for removed the MSRP numbers from under the rear seats? Would make sense if it was found under the floormats, or in the seats, but under the rear seat? That's a factory issue
Are all coupes assembled in Tennessee? Maybe we have an issue here.AppleBonker wrote:

Was it actually under the rear seat where you had to remove the rear seat to get to it or had was it where your change had fallen? Isn't there plastic protective coverings and such in the interior of a new vehicle that has to be removed when it comes from the factory?AppleBonker wrote:

It was actually under the rear seat. There would have been no way for it to get there without removing the back seat bottom (unless your goal was to slide it under there I guess). I found it when I was gutting my car to install sound deadener. If anyone would've just accidentally dropped it, it would've ended up on the seat or the floor.PhillipRumans wrote:
