Quick question. Is the crankshaft counterbalanced? Anyone have a picture of it?

its not fully counterweighted if thats what your asking.

yeah, that is what I meant. So, the crank is like the KA's balanced only at the ends?

I thought high rev engines were usually counterweighted...is upgrading the crankshaft part of the high rev rebuild?

the weights look better than the ka, but not as good as the sr20.

the 96mm stroke is what kills the KA motor in tems of revs. if you wanna see a nice counterweighted crank, look for a FJ20ET or an L20B crank, those are beautiful!
