The mazdaspeed 3 took off at a light . I was right behind it and tried to keep up. The bottom line was I couldn't. The G37 was just no match. Either he had work done, or the G37 isn't as quick as I thought.

3speed looks like garbage though, would never drive one. Also we have Infiniti that junk is a mazda. Its like comparing filet mignon to a McDonald's hamburger off the dollar menu.

The SRT4 Neon is also a lot faster, but at the end of the day, you're still in a dodge/mazda, whatever.

Thats a surprise to me, i know the 3 speed is supposed to beat my car stock vs. stock in the 1/4 mile. It shouldn't beat the G37 though, it probably had some mods. Maybe a tune, some higher boost, intercooler, injector upgrade, bigger intake and exhaust piping, could have been a number of things but anyone of these could really wake up a turbo factory car. The SRT 4 is a turd without upgrades. If you get beat by a stock one, you suck at life.

If you happen to run into the guy again, ask him what mods he has. And w/e you do (win, lose, or draw) always give a thumbs up, unless they tried to do a fly by and you caught them and passed them, then just laugh and wave!
