I've lucked into an 89 hatch shell for free and just traded a 95 eagle talon I bought for 200 bucks for a notch top sr with trans ecu and few other goodies. I'm mechanically inclined but this is my first 240 build so all the help and guidance I can get along the way would be very appreciated. I'll post pics soon of what I've got so far and hope someone could help me with what all I still need. My goal is a fun daily driver with around 400hp. Not a crazy stripped down drift machine. Just something fun and can drive everyday if I want to.

Welcome to the forums! The best way to post pictures is to use a photo sharing service (like photobucket) and post the URL with the img tags. If you highlight the url and click the IMG button on the post editor, it'll do it for you :D

:spitout: I remember passing that car across from Satellite Beach High a half dozen times lol. Saw the DSM too. Small world, man! I read the story and saw the pictures, and wasn't sure if it was a coincidence till I saw 321 in your username

Nice to see it's getting some love. Don't see enough 240's around here :bigthumb:

Try this:
vin diesel wrote:doesnt the s14 sr have purple 370cc injectors and the s15 sr have red 480cc
Pulled from the SR subforum here :bigthumb: Also apparently there's a way to reference the serial on the turbo to see if it was on an s14 or s15.

Hey cool, be happy to drop by sometime. Always up for some shop talk - help ya as best I can :dblthumb:

Unfortunately I didn't get injectors or the turbo with my pile of parts. Yeah if you see me in the garage working feel free to stop by anytime. Always down to talk about cars and maybe gain a little knowledge when and where I can. lol
