So, on my random driving adventure, i passed this company ABB turbochargers. And i was like, ****! wonder if they make turbos for cars?? so i found their website, and amongst turbos for trains, and giant cruise boats.....i found this. http://www.abb.com/product/sei...ry=US Now, don't laugh, because it says its available in tons of variations and whatnot.....read yourself. But, i guess the question here is, is there any way this turbo could be fitted to a KA24DE, or any japanese engine for that matter?

lol this question seems insanely stupid, but i figured.....who knows.

If you can figure out how to compare it to an oversized T3/T4; 160 hp is 119 Kw. What ever turbo they are referencing on that page is designed for 500-3,300 Kw. The only trouble I could see you running into is the actual flange. A turbo is a turbo is a turbo with added variables in vain design and bearing options.

What you dont realize is that the smallest turbo in that category is about the same size as your whole motor and weighs 241 pounds.

I love how they call it a 'small' engine turbo though, they must be thinking on a huge scale like.. Freighter boat scale heh.

Nice repost! That has got me thinking thou , with an engine so big , what the hell does that engine's starter look like!?! 12,000 volt starters now at walmart.
