Could this be my MAFS??!!

Well I got my car back from a shop here in San Antonio and the car would not let me put the gas past 25% throttle without bogging down. Tracked it down to a leak in IC piping by throttle body. Then another day I started the car and put it in gear then tried to take off but it did not want to go at all I could rev up the motor in neutral but when I let the clutch out(in gear) it would almost turn off. Checked intercooler piping and found no more leaks. I put another mafs on and it sort of cleared and hasnt tuned off on me YET the other mafs has 4 pins and a little round cap you could take off and has a little metal ring you could turn. sorry if i left anything confusing or out. I will try to get some pictures up if i can thanks in advance. M.R.:help
