I was reading a thread on recommended oil for the summer time. It said to run a thicker oil so I changed oil from 10w-30 to 20w- 50 and now their is a tick. could the oil be the cause? The tick is inconsistant and only noticable at idle (WTF?) when i let the car get real hot (200+) it goes away (WTF?).

thanks man, i am going to run this oil into water before i change it. last night i ran it real hard and it stopped. so i guess it has to get hot before you get the benifits of the thicker viscosity.

I run 20w50 in mine but its for solid lifters. A always ran 10w30 on the stock setup.
