could the CAS be malfunctioning to where it still will send a coil spark signal and not an injector fir signal?

motor starts on starter fluid, all signals but no injector pulse signal.

system diagram in the FSM doesnt make it seem like this might happen, i just paypaled for a new ECU, so i hope i dont have to cancel.

Have you tried spinning your CAS to hear the injectors click on (with key turned on)?

As a side note, I had a problem that fit your description and it was a mixed problem between old gas and spark plugs that were weak (foiled and gapped incorrectly).. It would only respond to starting fluid, but after changing plugs and gas, it fired right up..

but definitely check to see if your injectors are clicking on by spinning your cas. there's only the 3 little bolts to remove, just make sure that you mark your cas's position before loosening.

gas is good, plugs are good. yeah ive done that the spin thing too, the injectors click once while the coils click in sequence like they are supposed to. all while the fuel pump run until i stop spinning the CAS.

are you sure you have the right cas for the right cam? take a look at their dowels make sure they will coincide with another properly. Theres only 2 different CAS keys but make sure.
