Could my Knock / Front OS Sensors cut the engine out?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

So i drive until my car gets really hot..

Then it cuts off....

Could these be doing that? From what i've heard, no..

But they've been out for about 2 - 3 months now...
