Hey guys. whats up. I had a question about my exhaust setup. I am running stock piping to a borla cat-back exhaust. I have been told that removing the resonators will make the car slightly louder and increase the "snap/crackle/pop" effect or burbling when i let off the gas. Im not talking about backfire because i think thats different from an exhaust that just pops a lot. I like all the popping that goes on (owned a srt4 before) but my setup right now doesnt do it a lot. Will removing resonators do this? My car is NA with the only other engine mod being a jwt pop charger. I would love to get the popping effect and a local shop quoted me for 60 bucks.

Also I am in CA and the borla exhaust passed emissions and visual.

Removing the resonators will just make it more raspy, I don't think it will make it pop or anything like that. Resonators make the tone deeper, removing them makes it more raspy. I doubt your NA will ever sound like an SRT4.
