When I changed the spark plugs on my KA, they sort of fell out of the wrench socket and into place (Is it me or do the spark plugs sit a long way down in?), then I torqued them down like regular. I was wondering since I changed them out with NGK Iridium IX’s could I have damaged the tip or messed up the gap when they dropped into place? The car seems to run just fine and very smooth, this is just something I want to double check to absolutely make sure. Would I have noticed if they were damaged or the gap was changed?

Yea it's possible to do that. I think there would be a miss...not that hard to check them so just pull them out and re-check.Why guess when this is such a simple thing to check/fix.
