Could be buying this 89 240sx coupe!

I can get this poor abandoned thing for 500 Canadian, she has just over 100K miles and is a 5 speed.... A lady owned it and had it parked since before last winter because she don't like the rear wheel drive in the winter!

Apparently it has no problem in running, gunna need rear brake work, and the body/paint is in rough shape. plus obviously a few other odds n ends that I should be able to do myself.

is there a well known spot where an exhaust happens with these cars? cuz thats one thing thats wrong with her that frustrated the owner to the point she didn't want to drive it. She only gets it if you offset the cabin pressure, as in crack a window open you'll start to get an exhaust smell. not overpowering but its there.

judging from the plates its an alberta car?for there to be a smell inside the car u'd have to have leaky injectors or maybe a leak in the exhaust manifold (probably some gaskets would fix...cheap)

otehr then that, cant go wrong for 500$with only 100km on it

its just over 100k *miles* Kilometer readin is about 171 er so. I stated the miles because I figured there was mostly poeple from the states on here

i was thinkin somewhere up where the manifold is too for the smell, never thought of the leaky injectors...thanks!
