well, My friend brought his 300zx tt to my shop b/c it was running insanely rich with tons of black smoke. We replaced the coolant Temp sensor and the o2 sensor and it was good to go. You might wanna check both of those.

Coolant temp sensor would cause black smoke at any RPM and load.

The 02 is ignored under certain situations, like WOT.

If the engine is smoking all the time then the coolant temp sensor, boost leak, MAF, or the injectors are to blame.

also i have a s14 rad and if I give my car in the colde(10 deg)my temp gauge starts to drop. therefor the car is getting colder. I have changed the termostate a few times. thats not the problem. Its seems as if the water pump is forcing the coolant through the thermostat.
