Cost to Paint and mount stillen body kit

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum, but i've been reading up a lot and it seems like a great place. i just spent a while browsing through really old posts to make sure i wasn't repeating this so i apologize if i am.

I wanted to buy the stillen front lip kit which consists of the front lip, side skirts, and rear corners (#KB12220L) I have a super black 2.5s and i am asking those who have had this, or similar kits painted/mounted. what kind of price i should expect to pay to have a body shop paint and mount it.

I went and got an estimate yesterday and the guy told me 800-1000 for the whole job of removing the old skirts/corners, painting the new ones, and mounting them.

I asked him about painting the chrome mustache black to match and he said he'd do it but it might not be a good idea because chips to the front of the car from regular driving might show up more on the black. Any opinions?
