Cost to install AC compressor?

I have a ruptured disk and cannot work on my car.Anyway, A friend of a friend said he would work on my AC. He is going to install a compressor, refit the system for $175. I just need to supply the parts. I have not had work done on my 90 sx AC so I do not know the rate for AC wok. Is $175 a good price or should I bring it somewhere else?THANKS
