I was just wondering what you guys think a fair price is for a shop that you are some what friendly with and hang around there sometime and helped a little with the install, to charge you for the install of the following...Kyb Agx struts, front and rear 5 lug conversion w/s14 front balljoints, ss lines, 300zx calipers, z32 master cylinder, new rotors and pads. I know this is probibly a difficult question to ask as every shop is diffrent and how friendly i am with them. But i think in total we spent aroun 10-12 hours on my car over a 3 day period (did the fronts one day, rears another day, and ss the last day). Well anyways the guy i am kinda friendly with always treats me good and has great prices on everything we have done in the past. For this install he said 500 bucks (including the $60 worth of ball joints he ordered for me). Now i think this seems like a decent price as we did work on my car for a while and i know he has to run a buisiness. He even let me pay 200 today and said i can get the rest to him sometime next week. So what do you guys think...is 500 a fair price or to expensive?

Thats a very fair price, you probably saved 100- than going to any other shop.Going rate per hour is like 50-60. The calipers/rotors/lines/mc/ you could have done with basic tools and saved your self some money.
