a couple japanese companies make them. i think top secret has a single turbo manifold and blitz has a 1999 skyline with a single turbo conversion (search for blitz skyline, there's many articles about the car). the ones i've seen are at least 5-7k for single turbo kits.

5-7k for jus the turbo, or the whole engine, and does it come with ecu, trans, and such??

i think the 5-7k is for turbo, single turbo manifold, and everything to make it work with stock TB and ecu equipment. the engine is seperate, of course.

Just for reference, we have a single turbo rb26 header that retails for $950. Total conversion would be around 3500-4000 depending on what turbo you desired. Hope that helped.

If your wondering because of clearence issues with the twin turbos then just get the steering lines re-done, it's much cheaper.

I don't think the steering issue is with the lines, but the actual steering linkage itself interfeering with the TT manifold because this engine was designed for RHD.

more than you have. first off, you cant use the rb26dett transmission, so you have to buy a rb25 transmission, the ecu would come with it, and you dont just get the mounts, you need a whole crossmember (a31 i think, and others). it that alone would requir quite a bit of finnessing to get into a 240. plus it would cost you $6K or more for just the engine set

EDIT: o yeah you can NOT get it legalized unless you go though MotoRex. and that is really really expensive.

well its obviously more than i have, haha, but i dont see why u couldnt use an rb26dett transmission, i didnt mean neccesarily for a 240, but for anything, and i know legalization of a skyline is an easy 20gs, but i was jus curiuos

well, unless you want to spend another $6k making your 240sx AWD you can use the rb26dett transmission (because its AWD only :rolleyes )

true, im jus thinking of pricing on one, that is a lot of money, but imj sure someone will fit it into something, hell, have u ever seen a NRX, take a guess, yes, its a CRX, with an NSX engine, so i figure if they can pull that **** off, im sure someone could stuff an RB into something

Carefull, not all headers are created equally. You need a proper length/diameter in order to get the most out of your money. This is way more important on a turbo motor than many realize. ;)
