No folks I dont need one right now..:oface

But I was just wondering..I <did> race 5 cars last nite and it looks like i might do a lot of it this summer.

If I keep using the car hard how much say does your average ring job run?

I know some will say.." If its properly tuned you wont need one" I am just curious anyway.

Ring job? $?Valve job? $?

other common jobs?

Fred...:)

oooh oooh oooh!!!!

SEARCH!!!!!

j/k

What I would do is find a reliable machine shop in your area and then ask them how much for valve jobs on a 16v aluminum head. And then I believe courtesy parts has been kind enough to import SR20DET OEM internals.

Personally, for the bottom end, I would do it myself. Building up a bottom end is pretty easy, but if any machining is needed, I would send it off somewhere. I haven't had any experience machining, so I don't really feel like starting on my imported, illegal motor :)
