Make yourself a parts list with prices, then multiply by 2.5 LOL.

Seriously, the motorset is the tip of the iceberg. Do some searching and I think you will find another 2+ k or so worth of stuff you should/would do before installation of this into your 240.

lol

You can use the crossmember, you would still need to make a driveshaft and you would want to replace some stuff on the motor, and no matter how much money you say you will spend, it will be more in the end..... BTW you sound alittle like this guy...zerothread/185010

you start buying parts for the swap and you start realizing. hey, i want that clutch, and i might as well do it while its out of the car. then you decide, you better get a flywheel and do that at the same time.. stuff like that man.

i had a broken IM, so i had to go with a greddy one. yes, i had to. lol. well, then i need a Q45 TB, and a Z32 mafs, and a PFC. etc etc etc. im WELL beyond my origional budget. and im getting closer and closer to that $20,000 range already. although that does include $3500 for the car, and $1100 for wheels, etc etc etc. i already want to upgrade the turbo, but i havnt even driven the thing yet. hahahha.

oh i am fully awear that budges mean nothing and never end up at the same asyou thought...i am coming back to a 240 after i was building an eclipse for about 400+awhp...funny thing was when i started building that, i was just oging to do a rebuild to stock....and then the well since i am here i should do started in. By the time i realized that i could sell all my parts from that and buy a 240 (again) i was already about 4k deep....

The main question i had really was to buy a motor transmission set or buy a clip....lloks more like buy a clip would probably be ther best way to go about it since i get the cross member and everything else. of course the swap wont happen for a bit but its a good idea to start planing for it and buying little things that ill need once i order my clip.

Now is 2700 shipped a decent price for a r33 clip with 80k kilometers?

Who are you looking at getting it from? Make sure to compression test & check for shaft play in the turbo.
