Finally got my motor back in 1 , opened my new HG package and was quiet suprized .... the HG looked ceramic like rather than Felpro metalic likeusses some white seal technology , my parts guy ssuggested using it cuz of iron bottom and aluminum top. I wish i had my camera to show u guys but let me just say 1 crazy looking gasket for OEM ....now will see how it reacts to boost. Also has anyone installed glow gages, extra (oil pressure/voltage/temp gage pod) . I have to get it all installed gonna rip the dash out and use holesaw for the gageholes in the dash but where do i conect power wires?all my gages need power to light up ? whats a good source to tap in to? I figure voltage gage runs streight to the baterry so can i power up other from it?

Here is what I did for power on my gauges.

I bought my self a nice battery terminal and some black and red electrical wire, and Im runing all my guages straight from the battery on a power switch.

I also put a fuse half way through the power wire that goes from battery to the switch. Now this is a good easy way to do it only if you dont mind having your light bulb on at all times. I put my red light bulb sleeve on, so during the day you cant even notice the light on and once it starts getting darker the light is already on, with this setup you also have to renember to turn your gauges off, not like they will drain the battery over night or anything but still. Hope that helps.

the easiest way is to hook the power wire up to one side of the fuse blades inside the cockpit where the fuse box is. just wire it to something that comes on when the ignition is on or when you just turn the lights on.

the corteco are white looking b/c they are magnesium composite. Some of their holes don't match up properly, especially their intake manifold.
