I just need info from those who've done this before. I had to dodge out of some jackass's way and ended up hittting the curb. Not so bad, but the front passenger is pulled back about 8mm. I was planning on using some rope to pull the suspension back into place before setting caster/camber/toe. I'm planning on tying it to the front suspension and maybe my other 240 or a concrete filled post I have mounted to the garage floor. If anyone knows any other ideas worth trying, I'm all ears.

Don't do what you're thinking of doing.

Take it to a shop. Let them diagnose and replace your tension rod, which is bent. Maybe LCA buckled too?

Take the opportunity to spend some money on the front end.

I did it anyway, money is not a resource for me at this time. It sorta fixed the setback, but then after braking, it popped back out..... Looks like I will have to bring it to the shop.....

I've had the fortunate luck of getting some parts off a 240 in the pick n pull. I pulled the tension rod, the lower control arm and the tension rod bracket that connects to the frame. Is there anything else I have to replace? Would a bent inner tie rod also affect caster? I know it can affect toe, but I forget if it can also affect caster.
