Sorry if this is a repost, i tried running a search ok, here is the deal ive had my basicly stock s14(a few bolt ons: hks hiper catback, intake, underdrive pully) for a couple years now and getting tired of its lack of power. So i need to do something about this :)

so basicly this is what i gathered so far it will cost me about $1000 to rebuild my ka for the turbo kit and another $3500 plus labor for the kit, which is more than the car is worth.

My question is, wouldnt it be alot easier to get a 300zx which already has more hp than i would get with the turbo kit on my 240sx, and would also hold its value better than the 240.

Car: Tell me whats wrong with this picture. 3 240's, only one runs.

N/A 300zx are insanely slow. Performance is just about on par with my 3000gt, and thats way too slow for me. Remember they are very heavy as well.

Don't get me wrong, they're very nice cars, but I'd keep the 240.

Now if you want a TT 300ZX...:D

Stick with the 240sx. It might cost a lot, but I would recomend you rebuild or find a low miles KA and turbo the thing ;) BTW you can get KA motorsets $600 tops. The 300zx is going to be a lot worse on insurance and they are a lot heavier, not to mention that TT's are pretty pricey

You seem like the type that gets tired of projects quickly so I'd say sell it. If it were me, I'd keep it.
