??? Correct location for oem "NISSAN" sticker on front???

The 1990 I recently bought on BaT is mostly original, but had a fender bender a few years ago so the front bumper was painted.

I want it to be as close as possible to original, so want to add the "NISSAN" sticker to the bumper.

Looks like oem part not available, but an ebay seller offers a vinyl repro.

My question is- what is the exact location? I have the oversize original 1990 brochure, but the photos there show two different locations! (See photo.)

Does anyone have an original car with the original sticker that could measure the exact size and location of the sticker?

The ones I see online seem to be all over the place. Since there's no inset molded into the grille to locate it exactly, I'm thinking they must have been hand-applied at the factory and the location is approximate from vehicle to vehicle.

I don't think so. The factory would certainly have had a template to align them.

The pics in the brochure were likely taken of a pre-production car, before that detail had been finalized.

From what I've seen from my local zcars, the bottom pic looks correct.

DOH! Well, here's a funny end to the thread.

In reviewing the BaT pics of the car I just bought, it was totally original until a fender-bender in 2022, and there is a clear photo showing the location.
