Corporate is the Bottleneck

FYI, my sales rep informed me today that, yes, my car is sitting in the Port of Long Beach, but it has yet to be released. ETA of actually ending up in my hands is August 21-25.

The upshot is that Infiniti corporate seems to be sitting on the cars. On the positive side, a friend of mine has been awaiting the new Volkwagen R32. His car has been sitting at the Port of Long Beach...since April!

I believe my car is with your car also, hehe. My salesman told me that the ETA is around August 21st-23rd. I'm going to go down to Riverside Infiniti to actually see him in person and discuss prices and take pictures of the G37 there.

Sure they are. Why would they want to pull the cars out of customs and pay duty until they are ready to ship cars to dealers?
