what does it mean when a website will say $300.00 + $250 core charge?

When you buy that part you're going to pay $550, but when you send back the old part that you're replacing the new one with, you get that $250 back.
Did that make sense?

just wanna make a little more power with the stock motor w/o tearing it apart and rebuilding or swapping a diff motor
