Anyone have any experience with Corbeau Forza seats? Is there enough head clearance for 6'1" guy? They are high on my list since they fit a 38" waist, are lighter than stock and you can get actual 240sx mounting brackets for them. Any info would be appreciated.

Are you using the sliders or just the bracket?

Tech Notes: The Forza is designed to fit up to a 36-38 inch waist

khaki waste or cargo waste i have no clue. I don't think racing seats accomidate people with arses :P

I've sat in a Forza and a Forza II before. The original fits my butt just about perfect and doesn't let me slide around. Being that I'm going to be autocrossing it this summer, I don't want to be fighting the g-forces while trying to complete a run. I'm just worried about whether I can sit in there with my helmet.

sorry for bumping this thread back to life, but i was wondering if you guys who use the corbeau brackets sit at around stock height. ive got a forza that i got free, but i havnt tried fitting it into my car yet as im not sure what brackets to go with. i want my seat as close to stock as possible, as i love the stock seating position in the s13

ive got one and im right at 6'0 and i fit ok without the seat pad in, and when i race i take the sunroof out, and ive cut part of the headliner away, so it fits fine now. this is with the slider as well.

with the corbea slider and the forza with the seat pad in you will definately sit noticably higher than stock, but without the seatpad, i think its pretty close. but like mentioned above, with a helmet you will run into some issues.

hmm, im not really into having my seat any higher than stock, as with a helmet im pretty uncomfortable to begin with. are there any alternatives to mounting these seats? where can i get custom brackets/slider made?

with the way the corbeau bracket is made, it looks like you could buy one and then cut a section out and weld it back together, but thatd be kindof a waste.

you could try to find a bracket that attaches to the seat from underneath and modify it to work somehow if youre super-crafty.

I hate the forzas. Definatly the worst bucket ive ever sat in. Try out any mid grade fiberglass shell bucket from sparco or bride and the difference is night and day.

There is also a price difference between works and rotas, and silk road coilovers vs. eibachs and gr-2's. What are you trying to say, its better to waste a little money on ****ty products than spend more for quality stuff?

haha, i know that you get what you pay for, but to anyone other than someone who road races frequently, there will be no difference between a bride seat and a corbeau or recaro, except for maybe bling factor which doesnt weigh much with me.

some ppl cant stomach to spend 800+ on a dang seat. i mean i would if i had tons of money, but for daily driving/autox the corbeau works fine, and light on the wallet.
