Well i finnaly graduated high school and my gift from my parents is a new racing seat. Considering the delapidated condition of my old seat im really excited. But ive heard it raises the seat a good inch. I autoX so when im in there with a helmet on ill probably have to lean the seat back or put my head to the side. Is there a way to modify the sliding bracket to bring the seat down a little bit so i dont have to sacrifice seat position?~Sam

What you'll have to do is get custom/universal floor mount style brackets if you want to adjust height.

They allow you to adjust everything, height, position of seat, etc. Only bad thing is you will have to drill through your chassis. But this sounds like the only "easy" option for you.
