Copying Phone book for a Bluetooth-paired phone

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I remember I've spend rather considerable amount of time organizing the car's phone book for my prev. phone. The steps were roughly these:
1) downloaded it from a phone
3) All contacts that had several phones where split into several entries or something like that
4) deleted all entries I didn't need, renamed split contacts into something meaningful, set up voice tag.

It seems like I may have to redo it for my new phone. Anyone knows of any shortcut? I couldn't find a way to copy a phone book set up on the car for one phone to another phone.

While typing this I came up with an idea of creating a shorter phone book version in, say, excel with only one phone per contact. Then I'd temporarily replace the real phone book on my cell phone by this temporary phone book. Then I'd download phone book from phone to car and copy from downloaded phone book to real phone book. The only manual and optional thing would be to setup voice tags. That's still a lot of work - the only thing I'd save is annoying typing on the car's interface. Any suggestions?
