Thats pretty cool man, but the downside is most cops only hang out with other cops. Once you become a cop, all your friends now will be like "hey, lets go stea.. umm nothing" while you are around. But, at least you get to carry that tight belt with like a bunch of guns, pepper spray, and misc wacking tools.

NY State Troopers just had their new testing cycle. Im currently waiting for a callback for PAT testing. If things go right I could start the academy in June.

I'll try to be lenient to all those Nissan and Infiniti owners out there.....

OFr all of you guys with the Z28 Higway Patrols...

How bout being chased by a Supra??? I was pulled over onthe way back from orlando in the dead of night. I was doing 110-120, and the car came out of nowhere. He said he had hit 150-160 just trying to catch up. The thing was hooked up with engine work, boost controllers, everything. Really nice. I got off with a warning and even a map of places that I definiitely shouldnt speed in.

I wish I had luck like that. Thats awesome though!

Dude, if you do become an officer, and do it for any length of time, your perception will change of them, and the world.

But if you think you have what it takes, go for it. you either do, or you don't. but their is only one way to know.
