Cops in the distance or what?

When i get my RPM very high,and step on the clutch,the RPM drop of course,but while that's happening,i can hear a sound that sounds EXACTLY like a cops' siren in the distance.At first i thought i was just paranoid,but then my friends started sayin the same thing,it sounds just like a siren.Any info on that?

mine always sounds like a siren when i let the clutch out slowly to slow the car down for a stop light and the rpm's are a little too high. my truck did that too.

could be the differential, check your diff fluid.
