Hey, I don't want to get in trouble or something because I am not a vendor, but I decided to make some copper exhaust manifold gaskets for the rb20/25.

Why? A stock gasket which doesn't really work well if you want to reuse it, is about $89 + shipping from places I've found. Also, they don't like to handle higher pressures created with higher boost levels.

These gaskets are .064" copper and can be reused 10x and still probably have no problems. The ports are a tad larger than stock so they'll fit aftermarket manifolds and not be a restriction.

They are in 2 pieces because it is easier to mail that way and has no effect on their performance. I recommend a $4 bottle of copper gasket spray when using these to be safe, but my buddy who uses the same copper for a gasket on his turbo'd Neon says they work fine w/o the spray; that's just up to you.

I'm selling them for $50 shipped and I think that's very reasonable considering the price of metals these days and my time involved in drawing it all up in CAD and getting them water-jet cut to be very accurate.

If this is a problem mods, then I can just throw them up on ebay or something, no hurt feelings.

Thanks,Nick

yeah, unfortunately this does lean a little over the line, It should go. That is a great product though you might want to approach AZ about becoming a sponsor. If you made them for both RB flanges, CA, SR and KA I am sure people would buy them. I know I would.

I don't think any of our sponsors sell Copper Gaskets?? I'll have a look, but I don't think so. I don't see why it couldn't stay open unless a sponsor is already selling them.

Your just mad cause he doesn't have them for your CA or SR Mike...lol.

Haha, nice.

I talked to Greg today and he said as long as nobody sells them on the site already, then I could be a vendor for them or whatever. However, I would need some other gaskets from different engines to replicate them. If anyone sends me a gasket in good shape I'll give them a copper gasket at half price

Post your addy, I'll send you a KA24DE gasket. You should also make ones for the Tial 38mm wastegate. The gaskets for those are the suck...

I'll buy one of these. How do we send payment? (I may have to pay a couple extra bones being in Hawaii and all. I don't mind the slowest, cheapest shipping possible.)Also, know any good sources for cheap intake manifold gaskets?

Wow, awesome guys! Thanks for all the help.

My address is:

Nicolas Bertrand1708 Emerald StBlacksburg, VA 24060 (no stalkers please..lol)

I believe I already have the Tial 38mm drawn up, along with the T3 flange and 4bolt outlet from T3/T04E.

As far as payment, [email protected] is my paypal. If you're in Hawaii, just add $5 to the shipping price, so $55 shipped on these particular gaskets.

Headgaskets...hmm, I'm not sure if I would have a market for them, or if I want to be responsible for that type of gasket since it is such an expensive job, although I don't see how copper can fail?

Sil240, you selling the intake manifold gasket ?

Thanks again guys, I might have to get serious about this stuff..heh.
