cooling / Water pump for SR20DET

I have asked this and searched and have got very few feedbacks

My question isHas anyone used an SR20DE water pump on the SR20DET engine. I know it is fwd vs RWD but if you are using an electric fan does it matter ????

I almost bought one from a local store $32 to try but they were out of stock and have to wait a few days.

CAN someone please confirm or post why the SR20DE water pump would not work .
