Some of you may be aware of the cooling issues I had with my first motor (RIP)....now the second one is in....i did manage to get it up to 110 C, going uphill with A/C on, 2 passengers, in 95 degree weather....before i shut off the A/C. Now this freakish weather here is in the 60's in the day .....and at nice as low as 45 F.........I know that 120C is overheating....but what is a safe temp to drive the car??......what i am talking about is starting the car and warming it up before driving....when i get off work it will take forever just to get it to 45C.......any reccomendations for cold weather or is this temp ok? after a trying to warm the motor at low RPMs and a 20 minute highway drive (2500RPM) it only got to 55C. Is this ok? What can i do for the cold weather?(i'd like heat)

My RELATED mods:redtopkoyo aluminium radvented hooddual FAL fans (always on, gonna put on a switch this weekend)stock thermostat

thanks in advance!

with a koyo rad and two electric fans constantly pulling air through it, you probably won't see temps climb unless you're dogging the crap out of it

temps should be between 80C-100C.

anything less or over is too cool or overheating.

maybe your gauge is off. temps should really go all the way up to 80C and then stabalize because its regulated by the thermostat. but i could be wrong...
